Nina Gurina. The head of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said that Minsk does not seek "to play a geopolitical role" through the organization platform for peace talks on Donbas.

Minsk provides a platform for negotiations of the contact group "Ukraine-Russia-OSCE" with authorized self-proclaimed Donetsk and Lugansk national republics on the resolution of the conflict situation in the Donbass. The next meeting of the contact group on February 12 ended with the adoption of a package of measures on execution of the Minsk agreements, involving, for example, the ceasefire in the Donbas with fifteen February, the withdrawal of heavy weapons and the development of the security zone.
