The intensity of the shelling from the Ukrainian security forces in the Donbass increases in early international meetings and major holidays, told reporters Deputy head of the headquarters of the militia DND Eduard Bacurin.

"at the beginning of the larger meetings, such as, for example, the Minsk meeting or a meeting of the Council of Europe, i.e. those that in any way relate to the Republic, and likewise at the beginning of religious holidays the intensity of the shelling from the Ukrainian security forces increases," - said Basurin.

He added that during the last period of time the Ukrainian Military more often began to bombard the territory of the Republic from tanks and mortars.

The Ukrainian authorities began in April last year in the Donbass military operation against dissatisfied with the coup d'etat of residents of the region. According to the summary data of the UN, the victims of the conflict were about 6, 5 thousand people. The settlement of the situation in the Donbass is discussed, as well as among them, during meetings in Minsk contact group, which since September of last year already took 3 of the document governing the steps to de-escalate the conflict.
