The constitutional Commission on the last working day of the week approved the draft changes to the Constitution of Ukraine in the part of the decentralization of Power taking into account the proposals of the Venice Commission and forwarded the document to the President for approval.

Poroshenko promised in the upcoming week to make a project for consideration to the Verkhovna Rada that the document was sent for examination to the constitutional court. The Ukrainian authorities hope that Parliament will adopt the desired change in July in the first reading, and in September - in the 2nd reading.

"The text changes to the Constitution appeared an hour before the vote, an hour before the Constitutional Commission voted for its approval and direction of the President.
