Bulgaria wants to go with MiG fighters on NATO
The Bulgarian authorities have plans to buy fighter jets for the renewal of the aviation of the country amid growing tension in relations between NATO and Russia because of the Ukrainian fall, Reuters reports citing the Minister of defence of Bulgaria Nikolay Nenchev.

in March, Nenchev at the meeting of the Parliament said that due to the expensive cost of restoration of the Russian MiG fighter jets, air force Bulgaria have the opportunity to move to buy fighter jets NATO.

according to the Minister, the Bulgarian government is considering cooperation with Greece, the Netherlands and Belgium, and other countries that produce airplanes or possess them.

Nenchev said that Bulgaria will soon sign an agreement with Poland on repair of the Russian MiG fighter jets.

"I think we will sign an agreement in this or next month at the very latest," said the Minister.

Bulgaria joined NATO in 2004, but its aircraft to date does not meet the standards of the Commonwealth.
