The Council of Europe's Commissioner for human rights Nils Muiznieks expressed concern for the situation of vulnerable groups in the conflict area in Eastern Ukraine.

"Objects such as schools, hospitals and kindergartens are being destroyed, the most vulnerable groups - people with disabilities, senior citizens, mothers with children suffer from lack of food, medicine, water, sanitation", he said.

in the document it is reported that in the framework of this visit the Commissioner visited Donetsk, where he agreed as well as among them with international humanitarian organizations working on the ground, the humanitarian situation in the area. The Commissioner also visited the hospital room 21 in the Kuibyshev district of Donetsk city, Central trauma center, suffered from artillery fire.
