The head of " Naftogaz ": Russia will not stop the transit of gas through Ukraine
Ukrainian state Company " Naftogaz expects that the Russian Federation and after 2019 will not be able to do without pumping the gas transit to the European Union via Ukraine.

"The difficult situation with the Russian Federation, but despite the problems, the last statement of the Russian Federation says that Russia will be hard to transport gas without Ukraine. I think that will not be implemented at a scale that was announced, the Project "Turkish stream," - said the Head of "Naftogaz" Andrey Kobelev on Tuesday at a meeting of the Collegium of the Ministry of energy of Ukraine.

before the Minister of energy Alexander Novak has stated many times that the Russian Federation does not plan to renew the contract for gas transit through the territory of Ukraine after 2019. The head of "Gazprom" Alexey Miller has also stated commitment of the Russian Federation to refuse service of Ukraine as a gas transit from Russia to the European Union after 2019.

at the end of June, Miller said that Gazprom has instructed us to hold dialogues with Ukrainian partners on the possibility of concluding of the contract on gas transit to the European Union for the period after 2019, however, such an agreement does not have the ability to be concluded at a disadvantage for the Russian holding conditions, while Kiev requires the entry of unacceptable change.

with own side KOBOLEV said, what the statements of the Russian Federation gave him a reason to sum up about the fact that the Project of gas pipeline "Turkish stream" will not be implemented as announced.

The project "Turkish stream" involves the construction of a gas pipeline with a capacity of 63 billion cubic meters of gas per year from Russia to Turkey across the Black sea. The pipeline length of about 1, 1 thousand kilometers will consist of 4 strands and bring to the Turkish-Greek border to 47 billion cubic meters of gas. It is planned that on the border of Turkey and Greece gas hub will be created, and EU countries are obliged on their own to implement gas transmission capacities for the further reception of this gas on its territory.
