Matvienko: Russia will continue cooperation with the OSCE parliamentary Assembly
Russia will continue cooperation with the OSCE parliamentary Assembly, without Russia it is impossible to provide full security in the European Union, said on Thursday the speaker of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko.

"We have plans to continue the cooperation with the parliamentary Assembly. The OSCE parliamentary Assembly, ordinary session which took place on Wednesday in Helsinki, adopted a resolution that condemns Russia's actions in Ukraine and close to its borders in the context of the country's ongoing decline. For a decision voted 96 members of the annual session, 7 people voted against and 32 abstentions. The text of the final document was prepared by the members of the delegations of Ukraine and Canada. In the document it is underlined that the Assembly condemned " the unilateral and unjustified encroachment on Russia's sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine ".
