Kiev agreed with the EIB on attracting 400 million euros on infrastructure
Ukraine July 23, plans to sign with the European investment Bank (EIB) an agreement on raising ? 400 million to support municipal infrastructure, said on the last working day of the week the Deputy Minister of regional development, construction and housing and communal services of Ukraine Roman Tchuprinenko.

"Twenty-3rd July is expected to be signed by Deputy Prime Minister Gennady Zubko and Vice-President of the EIB great agreement for ? 400 million, which would address the development of municipal infrastructure. The funds have the ability to focus on a few sectors - drainage, heat and vadapalani, street lighting, energy efficiency homes, " said Tchuprinenko at a press conference.

the agreement provides for an unprecedented loan maturities up to 30 years to pay for the water utilities.

before the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine signed with the EIB two agreements on loans for the development of small business for 400 million euros and the reconstruction of the country in the amount of 200 million euros.

in 2014, this credit institution has provided Ukraine with assistance in the four programmes. For example, the Bank gave Ukraine 55 million euros for the construction of the Beskyd tunnel (transport corridor in the Carpathians), 20 million euros to the agricultural holding Astarta, 150 million euros to the government of Ukraine for the repair of the gas pipeline "Urengoy-Pomary-Uzhgorod" and 85 million euros to one of the largest Ukrainian producers of agricultural produce organization " Myronivsky Hliboproduct ".
