"The thirteenth of July the court found the head of Zaporizhzhya regional Council guilty and has appointed to it punishment in the form of 5 years with punishment serving with a trial period in 3 years and deprivation of the right to hold certain positions for a period of 3 years ", - informs the Ministry.

the Prosecutor recalled that in September 2014 in Kirovograd began the trial on the charge of the head of Zaporizhzhya regional Council and former Governor according to section " organization of mass riots on preliminary arrangement by group of persons ". The accusations that the ex-Governor of the Zaporozhye area has been closed in connection with his death. During the court debate, the head of a regional Council pleaded not guilty.
