The Verkhovna Rada ratified the agreement between Ukraine and the European investment Bank (EIB) on the project "Reconstruction, overhaul and technical re-equipment of the main gas pipeline" Urengoy ? Pomary ? Uzhgorod " for the sum of 150 million euros.




Such a decision at the meeting on Wednesday supported 254 parliamentarians with the necessary minimum of 226 votes, RIA " Novosti ". Eleven December 2014 the European Bank for restoration and development (EBRD) agreed to provide a loan of 200 million dollars to the Ukrainian authorities for the restoration operator Ukrtransgas gas pipeline "Urengoy ? Pomary ? Uzhgorod" for transmitting gas from Russia to the European Union through the territory of the country. As of December 1, Ukraine signed an agreement on restoration and modernization of the gas pipeline "Urengoy ? Pomary ? Uzhgorod" with the European investment Bank (EIB) in the amount of 150 million euros. In mid-August, the Ukrainian Parliament adopted a law that allows the government to make the operator of the gas transportation system of the country in which the share to 49% will be able to get investors from the US and the EU. At the insistence of the deputies in the document was submitted the regulation for the approval of the shareholders of the operator GTS specifically the Verkhovna Rada.
