Korean firm Samsung has introduced in China phone Galaxy A8. The new product has a huge screen and a narrow body. Its thickness is only 5.9 mm.

Samsung has officially unveiled the most narrow among their own phones - Galaxy A8. The novelty has a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED screen with Full HD resolution of 1920x1080 pixels. Inside the model is based on an OCTA-core processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 1.5 GHz, has 2 GB of RAM and depending on the version of the drive with a volume of 16 or 32 GB. To extend the built-in memory microSD cards up to 128 GB.

The novelty has 2 slots for SIM-cards and, obviously, supports LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1 and NFC. The rear camera has a 16 megapixel sensor, optical image stabilization and a fast lens (f/1.9, the front has a resolution of 5 megapixels. The battery capacity is 3050 mAh, which, as the manufacturer promises, should be enough for 306 hours in standby mode.

The device runs on the Android operating system version 5.1 Lollipop with the shell TouchWiz. In the "home" button has a built-in fingerprint scanner. Galaxy A8 is made in all-metal chassis and weighs 151 grams.

Galaxy A8 will be available in black, white and Golden colors of the housing. Price and sale date of the phone is still not posted here. While the novelty was announced for the Asian market, it remains unknown when it will be released for Western users.
