The head of the Odessa regional state administration Mikhail Saakashvili decided to appoint his Deputy Maria Gaidar, the daughter of a Russian economist and politician Yegor Gaidar, reports the online edition.

As informs Internet-edition about this the Governor said during the meeting, the commissioners of the European business Association.

"We ask the President to give her (Maria Gaidar) Ukrainian citizenship ", - said Saakashvili.

According to the magazine, Gaidar said that she will be responsible for the social sphere in the administration.
