The Ministry of defence of Ukraine: exercise Rapid Trident will be the most ambitious
Commencing on the first day of the week in Lviv region international exercise Saber Guardian/Rapid Trident-2015 will be the most ambitious exercises in Ukraine this year, they are attended by about 2 thousand soldiers from 18 countries, said the head of the Western regional media center of the Ministry of defense Alexander Pornuk in the air.

first it was claimed that universal tabletop exercise Saber Guardian/Rapid Trident - 2015 will be held July 20-31 on jaworowski polygon in Western Ukraine. From the Ukrainian side, the exercise will involve about 800 soldiers, presumably the same military will arrive from other countries, mostly from the USA.

"A record number of soldiers - about 2 thousand from 18 countries of the world, and the Kingdom of Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Estonia, Georgia, Germany, great Britain, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Norway, Poland, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Turkey and, of course, the USA and Ukraine. In the stadium of the landfill were collected in all international offices and during the anthems of Ukraine and the USA were raised the flags of both countries, " said Commissioner of the Ministry of defence about the opening exercises.

This will be the most large-scale exercises such format this year, will involve military equipment, he added.

"It is clear that when the teachings of a team level, we are attracted dozens of soldiers, hundreds of weapons, equipment, and of course, will use all possible resources to the maximum to fulfill the task," said Pornuk.

according to him, the scenario is quite tightly tied to the events that happen in the world, and among them is taken into account the situation in the East of Ukraine.

The annual exercise Saber Guardian/Rapid Trident in Ukraine are held with the participation of the offices of Ukraine, the United States and several other NATO countries and the former USSR. In 2014 participated in about 1, 3 thousand soldiers from fifteen countries.
