Medvedev gave the order to finish the elimination of Mindcrime until 1 December
Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signed a decree according to which the Ministry of the Crimea has to be liquidated prior to December 1 of the current year, the corresponding document is published on the official portal of legal information.

The President of Russia Vladimir Putin had signed a decree abolishing the Ministry of Crimean Affairs. The functions of the abolished Ministry transferred to the Ministry of economic development.

"to finish the liquidation event on the abolition of the Ministry of the Russian Federation on Affairs of the Crimea until 1 December 2015 ", - said in the decree.

The Ministry of Crimean Affairs was established on 31 March 2014, ten days after the signing by President Putin of the Treaty on the adoption of the Crimea and Sevastopol a part of Russia. The Minister was appointed Oleg Savelyev, who until his appointment the head of Mindcrime more than five years he worked as the Deputy head of the Ministry of economic development.

Crimea and located on the Crimean Peninsula Sevastopol became the Russian regions after the referendum of 16 March 2014, when more than 96% of voters voted for secession from Ukraine and reunification with Russia. The referendum was a reaction to the coup in Kiev in February 2014.
