The self-proclaimed head of the Luhansk national Republic Igor Carpenter tried to convince Kiev to take weapons from the contact line and to stop the shelling of houses.

The self-proclaimed militia Donetsk and Lugansk national republics on Sunday revealed that in the sole procedure has begun the removal of equipment and weapons of a caliber of less than 100 millimetres from the line of contact in Donbas. Ukrainian Military told that the relevant order was not received.

"We expect that they (Mat - ed) took arms and stopped shelling the houses of our people" - quoted by Carpenter on the first day of the week.
