In the official media published a Decree on holding 25 October Ukraine local elections, so, it came into force.
The decree published in the parliamentary newspaper " Voice of Ukraine ". Remember, last week the Parliament of Ukraine appointed on 25 October next local Elections, the relevant draft resolution was supported by 237 parliamentarians with the necessary minimum of 226 votes.
According to the document, the Elections will not take place beyond the control of Kiev on the territories of Donetsk and Lugansk regions, and similarly, in the Crimea and Sevastopol. If it is impossible to build and prepare the holding of local elections in some areas of Donetsk and Lugansk regions, the Central election Commission makes a conclusion about the impossibility of holding elections in each individual case. Such decision promptly served by the CEC to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, which for its part is authorized to reject the proposal of the CEC. Elections in those areas where they will not be held on 25 October 2015, will be appointed by the Parliament to another date, subject to the cessation of hostilities, the restoration of full surveillance over the territories from Kiev and the " disarmament of all illegal armed groups ". Along with this, fifteen July the party " Opposition bloc demanded that the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko not to approve the law on local elections and send it to the Venice Commission for examination. On the same day the Commissioner of the faction of the Opposition bloc in the Verkhovna Rada Alexander Dolzhenkov expressed criticism of the law on local elections. For example, he claimed that this law deprives millions of internally displaced people in Ukraine are not allowed to vote.
