The head of the OSCE Ivica Dacic said that he would take part in the meeting of the contact group on Ukraine in Minsk, to push the political process.

"After lunch I'm going to participate in the meeting of the trilateral contact group to push the political process," Dacic said at a meeting with foreign Minister of Belarus Vladimir Makei.

He added that his trip was organized in order to support the contact group and its subgroups ". In addition, Dacic expressed gratitude to the authorities of Belarus for assisting in the organization of peace talks on Ukraine.

A new meeting of the contact group and its subgroups will be held in the context of intensified efforts by the international brotherhood aimed at advancing the peace process. So, last Friday, the first since April, dialogues of the leaders of the "Normandy format" (Russia, France, Germany, Ukraine). On the next day the head of the Ministry of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation S. V. Lavrov held dialogues with their counterparts from Germany, Ukraine and USA.
