Technical agreement regarding joint military unit ? brigade LITPOLUKRBRIG ? and management principles they signed on the last working day of the week Lithuania, Poland and Ukraine, told on the last working day of the week the Ministry of national defence (defense) of the Baltic Republic.

The brigade is formed on the principle battle groups of the European Union. The brigade headquarters, where Lithuania will send six officers, is expected to place in Lublin, Poland. The agreement was signed by countries in September 2014, and ratified by the Verkhovna Rada on 4 February 2015. The tripartite work on the project began in November 2009, when the defence Ministers of Lithuania, Poland and Ukraine signed a document which outlined the desire to make common trilateral military unit.
