Poroshenko: the attorney General will announce on July 28 on the transfer of the case to the court of Yanukovych
The head of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that on Tuesday, the Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin will inform the Public about the transfer to the court of criminal cases concerning the former leadership of the country, among them ex-President Viktor Yanukovych.

Yanukovych was elected President of Ukraine on 25 February 2010 for a five year term. However, on 22 February 2014 in the country there was a coup. The Verkhovna Rada ousted Yanukovych from power, changed the Constitution and appointed a may special election, the results of which became the new President Petro Poroshenko. Yanukovych was forced to leave the country. After the coup d'etat fresh authorities instituted a number of criminal cases against former bureaucrats.

"On Tuesday at eleven. 00 (same as GMT), the attorney General will give a press conference. He will inform the Public about the transfer to the court on the former leadership of the country headed by Viktor Yanukovych. The public should know about it ", - said Poroshenko in an interview to television channel ".
