LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), 27 Jul - RIA Novosti/Prime. Prime Minister of Russia Medvedev D. A. said that in the EU there are voices of countries that understand that punishment is no good lead.

"Slovenia position (was - ed.) has always and hopefully will be calm and balanced, and very well, that when obgovarivaya the most different, the most difficult issues in the European Union, the voices of those countries that understand that punishment in General is no good leads that we're between them won't get to that we need to develop normal kind of relationship, and that any conflicts are resolved peacefully," - said Medvedev at a press conference on the results of his working visit to Slovenia.

He said that in Russia understand that the European Union States are heterogeneous, countries ' differing positions.

"Among these countries There are countries that, in our opinion, is reasonable, calm attitude, for example, the problems associated with the development of relations with Russia, the conflict in Ukraine. There are countries that have a position which, to say the least, very emotional or partly formed phantom pain", the Russian Prime Minister added.

He expressed hope that Slovenia will retain a balanced, sensible position within the EU in relation to Russia.


Western countries since March 2014 several times already imposed penalties because Russia's position on Ukraine. In March 2015 has been extended sanctions List of the USA, and in June the sanctions List of Canada.
