The court authorized to approve the special status of Donbass The constitutional Tribunal of Ukraine acknowledged that the draft basic law powers in terms of decentralization is not unconstitutional. This was told by Deputy head of the court Vasily Brintsev.

The President's version of the basic law of local government in certain districts of Donetsk and Lugansk regions are determined by a special document.

The constitutional Tribunal of Ukraine recognized the relevant basic law powers transitional provisions of the draft Constitution. They provide that the special status of Donbass is determined by a separate law. The proper solution was read in the courtroom of the constitutional court of Ukraine.

"The constitutional Tribunal of Ukraine ruled that the draft law on introducing changes to the Constitution of Ukraine conditionally decentralization of power meets the requirements of articles 157 and 158 of the Constitution of Ukraine", - said the Deputy head of the court Vasily Brintsev. In the presidential key project of the law of the distinctive features of local government in certain districts of Donetsk and Lugansk regions are determined by a special document and attached in the transitional provisions of the Constitution.

The Verkhovna Rada in mid-July of 2015 took the decision made by the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko project configurations in the basic law for examination to the constitutional Tribunal. Now the deputies will be able to see the project configurations in the first reading, final adoption of the document at the time 2 read it should support a constitutional majority (300 votes).

The constitutional Tribunal of Ukraine began to consider the project configurations in the main law powers July 27, tells TASS. The constitutional reform in Ukraine - one of the basic requirements of a package of measures to resolve the situation in Donbass, signed by the parties to the incident in Minsk on 12 February.

According to this document, Ukraine by the end of 2015, we should adopt a new Constitution, involving as a major constituent decentralization (taking into account peculiarities of particular districts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, agreed with the adherents of these areas), also permanent legislation on the special status of separate districts of Donetsk and Lugansk regions.
