Kiev has increased the supply of electric power from Russia in the framework of emergency aid
Ukraine increased to 1, 2 GW of electric power supply from the Russian Federation in the framework of emergency aid and wants to pay for delivery, said on the last working day of the week the Deputy Minister of energy and coal industry of the country Alexander svetlik.

By energy Minister Volodymyr demchyshyn said on the first day of the week that Russia supplies Ukraine 800-900 MW of electrical energy per day due to the shortage of resources in the Ukrainian power system, when a total of the system have been disabled to 2, 5 GW for various reasons. The Minister explained that deliveries are made not by agreement of the import and flows.

"We currently take from the Russian Federation of the order of 1, 2 GW per day. This is not an import, because it just flows and We pay for emergency help. Due to the fact that the generation is not working, it is a flow and We have to pay over there, " said svetlik correspondents. However, he did not want to specify the amount that Kiev will pay for delivery of electric energy from Russia.

Under current arrangements, the Russian "inter RAO" supplies electricity to Ukraine. At the same time with this subsidiary of "inter RAO" - company "the Center of settlement" (DH) buys electricity in "Ukrenergo" for Crimea, which is currently 70-80% dependent on the supply of electric energy from Ukraine.
