The use of oral contraceptives helps to prevent the development of cervical cancer. New discovery gave researchers at the Oxford Institute.

Experts analyzed data from 36 different studies including history, more than 27 thousand of the fairer sex from the United States, Europe, Asia, Australia and South Africa, which had endometrial cancer. As a result researchers concluded that for every 5 years, during which the fairer sex is taking oral contraceptives, the risk of developing endometrial cancer is reduced by 25%, and the longer the lady accepts these contraceptives, the better it is protected from this type of cancer, informs "Bi-bi-si".
