The head of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko will submit to the Verkhovna Rada a draft law on the introduction of liability under the criminal code for trafficking of excisable items, informs a press-service of administration of the President of Ukraine.

first Poroshenko said that he considered it necessary to return to criminal liability for smuggling, and vehicles to seize smugglers for the army. He added that all humanitarian goods were sent from the Ukraine in the Donbass, must be delivered through official checkpoints - " green corridors ", and smuggling of excisable products, which is removed, must be destroyed so that it did not try to enter it again.

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine declared invalid criminal liability for smuggling, changing it to a in the form of administrative penalty in 2011.
