Former Minister of ecology of Ukraine Igor Shevchenko has denied widespread first data about excitation of criminal case against him on illegal enrichment.

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of 2 July, on the proposal of the Cabinet Shevchenko fired from the post of Minister of ecology and natural resources, ex-Minister suspected of bribery. According to the Ukrainian authorities, during his stay Shevchenko as Minister many times there were no violations of the law. In the evening on the last working day of the week the leader of the Ukrainian Radical party Oleg Lyashko said that during interrogation of the Ministry of internal Affairs of Ukraine on the case of illegal enrichment, which initiated against Shevchenko.

"The document that Lyashko announced on his page in FB, shows only about what is included in the register of data about the case on the fact of false statements Lyashko towards me. No there is no case against Me. I was also invited to the Ministry of internal Affairs in the present case in the form of a witness, and I gave all explanations and documents proving my innocence, " wrote Shevchenko on his page century

Shevchenko also said that he wrote a message to the Prosecutor General of Ukraine to address Lyashko for libel.

Shevchenko was appointed Minister of ecology in the early winter of 2014. He was part of the government quota Tymoshenko's party " Batkivshchyna ".
