In Kharkiv bomb experts have plans to apply raccoons instead of dogs searching for bombs, mines and other devices, reports Ukrainian.

currently engineers are raising a couple of raccoons, the offspring of which will be taught to search for explosives. It is noted that in these animals the scent is not worse than dogs.

"I think we're not hard they train. It's a matter of time ", - said the head of the scientific research forensic center of the MIA of Ukraine in Kharkiv region Stanislav Perlin.
