Belarus has banned the import of pork from the Poltava region of ASF
Alexey Bukchin. Belarus has imposed a ban on the import into its territory of pork and pork products from the Poltava region of Ukraine because of African swine fever reported in the report of the Department of veterinary and food supervision of the Ministry of agriculture of the Republic.

"according to the international epizootic Bureau, within the Poltava region of Ukraine registered cases of diseases susceptible species of animals African swine fever ", - is informed in the report.

On August 18 introduced temporary limits on the importation into the area of Belarus from the Poltava region " of live pigs, pork, and among them the meat of wild boar, by-products, leather, horn and hoof and raw intestines, hair, hunting trophies obtained from susceptible species of animals, feed, second-hand equipment for keeping, slaughter and dressing of pigs ".

Indicated the need for " additional measures observations on the maintenance of biological protection of large pig farms and pig farms and farms of all forms of ownership ".

before Belarus has imposed such a ban on the importation of pigs from Kyiv, Rivne, Zhytomyr, Sumy, Luhansk, Kyiv, Rivne and Chernihiv regions of Ukraine.
