The Prosecutor General The Prosecutor General's office of Ukraine declared wanted by 145 Crimean prosecutors suspected of treason, and ordered the seizure of their property for the sum of 50 million UAH (2, 3 million dollars).
"Held pre-trial proceedings in criminal proceedings concerning the former employees of the Prosecutor's office of Crimea for an act of lawlessness under part 1 of article 111 of the criminal code (treason) ", - reported in the report on the Internet office of the GPU.
the Ministry stressed that " the court imposed detention on immovable and movable property of the prosecutors of the Crimea in the amount of about 50 million ". In addition, " the investigator suspects declared wanted, Pechersky district court of Kiev granted permission for their detention ". In GPU recalled that in may 145 Crimean prosecutors were formulated accusations of treason. In July, the Pechersky district court of Kiev supported the petition of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine and imposed detention on vehicles and real estate former prosecutors Crimea. In addition, in may the Prosecutor General's office of Ukraine declared on suspicion of treason 276 of judges of the Republic of Crimea in violation of the oath after joining the Peninsula to Russia. In July, the Ministry has sent to the Verkhovna Rada a view to prosecution under the criminal code 276 judges of the Crimea. In Crimea on March 16 of last year held a referendum on the status of autonomy, more than 96% of participants who were in favor of joining region in Russia. March 21, 2014 Russian President Vladimir Putin signed the law on ratification of the agreement on joining of Crimea and Sevastopol to Russia and signed the decree about formation of the Crimean Federal district.
