District administrative court of Kyiv will be September 10, consideration of the claim of the Communist party of Ukraine (KPU), which asks the justice of the country to make an examination of the law's condemnation of Communist and totalitarian regimes, said Tuesday the press service of the Communist party.

The Communist party of Ukraine asks the court to oblige the Ministry of justice to provide anti-discrimination examination and verification of the law for compliance of its provisions with the requirements of the Convention for the protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms of 1950 and the decisions of the European court of human rights.

in April, the Parliament of Ukraine adopted the laws "about the condemnation of the Communist and national socialist (Nazi) totalitarian regimes in Ukraine and the prohibition of imposing their symbols" and " On access to the archives of the repressive organs of the Communist totalitarian regime, 1917-1991 ", "to commemorate the victory over Nazism in the Second world war 1939-1945" and " On the legal status and the memory of the fighters for independence of Ukraine in the twentieth century ". These documents prohibit Soviet symbols, recognise the illegal Communist regime, open the archives of the Soviet special services and recognize the fighters for independence of members of the "Ukrainian insurgent army" (UPA) and several other organizations.

The Supreme court of the Russian Federation in November 2014 was included in the list of extremist organizations " Right sector ", "Ukrainian national Assembly - Ukrainian national self-defense" (UNA-UNSO), the Ukrainian organization "Brotherhood" and "Trident behalf of Stepan Bandera and the Ukrainian insurgent army" (UPA). The act on condemnation of the Communist and Nazi regimes, for example, prohibiting propaganda of Soviet symbols, caused a great resonance in society, because it has not been clearly written by the boundaries of its use. The government promised to amend the Law changes and remove inaccuracies.
