Ukraine has received 732 million dollars from the world Bank for the implementation of infrastructure projects and energy efficiency in the district heating sector in the country, according to a report of the Ministry of housing and communal services of Ukraine on Wednesday.
"The Ministry together with the world Bank is implementing a number of investment projects whose goal is the Development of urban infrastructure and improvement of energy efficiency in the district heating sector of Ukraine, totaling 732 million U.S. dollars ", - is informed in the report.
It is noted that the implementation of the "urban infrastructure Development - 2" is aimed 350 million USD (300 million at the expense of funds of the loan of the international Bank for restoration and development and $ 50 million financing from the clean technology Fund). The project implementation period is 6 years (2014-2020).
The funds provided are directed to the restoration of the networks to be replaced with pre-insulated pipes
