Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Bastrykin has charged to conduct an audit of the incident with the attack on the activist MHER Edward Salakhutdinov. This was told by the official representative of SK Vladimir Markin.

Earlier the newspaper "Izvestia published an article where it was reported part of the attack on 28-year-old fighter with an illegal casino. August 7, the activist was brutally beaten with a bat, and he was in the hospital. But after discharge, the victim from the hospital accused in the beating were released, and then, according to reliable information of the publication itself Salakhutdinov was arrested on suspicion of allegedly being a patron of the casino and the receipt of cash for his silence. Now the location Salakhutdinov, who faces up to 15 years of imprisonment, is not known.

"In connection with the facts described in the article and the statement of the Chairman of the coordination Council of Young Guard of "United Russia" Denis Davydov to the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation infringement of a young man, made in the investigation into the beating, Alexander Bastrykin gave a decree to the head of the investigation Department of insurance in the Republic of Tatarstan to organize a procedural audit of the events narrated in the article," - said Markin.
