MOSCOW, 25 Dec - RIA Novosti/Prime. The volume of gas in underground storages (UGS) of Ukraine on 25 August was 14, 169 billion cubic meters, an increase for the day to 0, 06%, inform the data on the Internet representation of the Association of European operators of the underground gas storages (GSE).

according to the information of the GSE, the level of storage has increased to 45, and 78% with 45, 6% as of August 24, when in Ukrainian underground storage facilities was 14, 114 billion cubic meters of gas.

according to Ukrtransgas, Ukraine in January-July imported 10, 7 billion cubic meters of gas, of which 64% (6, 9 billion cubic meters) - from EU countries. The head of "Naftogaz of Ukraine" Andrey Kobelev had previously stated that in the last month of summer in UGS need to upload about 1, 5 billion cubic meters of gas to catch up with the schedule of preparation for the heating season.

After another unsuccessful tripartite gas talks on 30 June Ukraine has suspended the purchase of gas from Russia to agree on the terms of delivery and currently receives gas only in reverse from Europe. At the same time Ukraine is actively seeking funds for the purchase of gas for injection into underground storage facilities for the coming winter.

on the last working day of the week at the meeting in Minsk of the head of "Gazprom" and "Naftogaz" Alexey Miller and Andrey Kobelev discussed the current cooperation organizations and the preparation of "Naftogaz" for the autumn-winter period. Before the last month of summer the Head of the Ministry of energy of Ukraine Volodymyr Demchyshyn sure that Kiev in the near future will report on the restoration of gas supplies from Russia.
