Tusk tried to convince Poroshenko to accelerate the holding in Ukraine of a number of reforms
Natalia Dobrovolskaya. The head of the European Council Donald Tusk tried to convince the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko to speed up the reforms in the justice system.

"I welcome the progress (made make) changes to the Constitution that will enable greater decentralization, and urge Ukraine to move faster to reform the justice system," said Tusk on Thursday at a press conference with Poroshenko.

The constitutional court of Ukraine at the end of July recognized in conformity with the Constitution of the presidential draft of the constitutional amendments on decentralization of power, which does not provide special status for certain districts of Donetsk and Lugansk regions, but only prescribes that the special order of self-government in these territories will be Assigned to a special legislative act.

on Thursday, the Ukrainian people's Deputy Ruslan Knyazhichi contributed to the Verkhovna Rada a draft resolution on preliminary approval of changes to the Constitution.

in the breakaway republics of Donbass reported that the draft changes to the Constitution of Ukraine is contrary to the Minsk agreements, because it does not provide for them any special status and was not consistent with the authorized DND and LNR and the public.
