The jury considered it proven that in may 2013 in the Crimean city of Bakhchisaray Hayser Dzhemilev on the territory of his home from a gun accidentally shot a family friend Fevzi Adamova. The prosecution insisted, because it was premeditated murder.

The tenth of June, the Krasnodar regional court due to a guilty verdict sentenced Dzhemilev, Jr. to five years of the sentence for causing death by negligence.

The process attracted the attention of the Russian public, as Dad accused for a long time (until 2013) was the head of the Crimean Tatar Mejlis, which claims to be the organ of national government about 260 thousand Crimean Tatars.
