The Minister of sports Vitaly Mutko became the new President of the Russian football Union (RFU). His candidacy was supported by all participants of the extraordinary conference of the organization.

"Real evidence confirmed that Vitaly Mutko elected President of the RFU at the extraordinary conference for the period of 1 year. Remember that Mutko was the President of the RFU from April 2005 to November 2009.
