Poroshenko has signed the law on elections in the United communities October 25
The head of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has signed on the last working day of the week the Verkhovna Rada of the law, which will give an opportunity to hold the first election in the United territorial communities in conjunction with the next local elections on October 25, informs the presidential press service.

"the Manager has signed the law? 676-VI " On introduction of changes into certain laws of Ukraine concerning the organization of the first elections of deputies of local councils and village, settlement and city mayors ", - is informed in the report.

in February, Parliament adopted a law On voluntary community involvement in the framework for decentralization of power in the country. United communities are required to make a single local authority, they will also gain a higher economic potential for development of areas.

Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine, Minister of regional development, construction and housing and utilities Gennadiy Zubko, speaking on the last working day of the week during the hours of the government before the vote on the draft law, said that at present more 6, 3 thousands of local communities began their Association, which represents more than half of the total number in Ukraine. In this case, 180 communities have teamed up, but only 75 of them have passed all the procedures on time and will be able to participate in local elections on October 25.

for this reason Zubko tried to convince Parliament to regulate this issue to give the other 105 communities to participate in elections on October 25 and to reduce the expenditure budget for the holding of separate elections in these communities.
