The volume of gas in underground storages (UGS) of Ukraine on 8 September was 14, 818 billion cubic meters, an increase for the day 0, 28%, inform the data on the Internet representation of the Association of European operators of the underground gas storages (GSE).

according to the information of the GSE, the level of storage has risen to 47, 88% with 47, 75% as of September 7, when in Ukrainian underground storage facilities was 14, 777 billion cubic meters of gas.

according to Ukrtransgas, Ukraine for January-August 2015 eleven imported, 8 billion cubic meters of gas, of which 8 billion cubic meters from Europe.

After another unsuccessful tripartite gas talks on 30 June Ukraine has suspended the purchase of gas from Russia to agree on the terms of delivery and currently receives gas only in reverse from Europe. At the same time Ukraine is actively seeking funds for the purchase of gas for injection into underground storage facilities for the coming winter. According to various estimates, the country ought to accumulate in their own UGS about 19 billion cubic meters of gas.

Ukraine's energy Minister Volodymyr demchyshyn After a bilateral meeting with the Vice-President of the European Commission on energenius marasem Sefcovic said on August 27 that Ukraine hopes to sign a contract on gas supplies from Russia for the entire heating season. Demchyshyn sees chances before the end of September to come to a common understanding on gas supplies.
