"I vote for the Election were everywhere, except in those areas specifically are on the line of collision and where there is a Danger of spontaneous unexpected attacks, where we will not be able to protect people. But once the situation is stabilized, the Verkhovna Rada will adopt a date for new elections and there, " said Poroshenko on Wednesday at a meeting of the Council areas.

The first Parliament of Ukraine adopted the law that defines the rules for local elections. Now the oblast, city and district councils will be elected by proportional representation with the so-called open lists, and the Election of people's deputies of village and settlement councils - the majority system of relative majority. In the election will not be eligible blocks of political parties, the electoral threshold for parties increased from 3% to 5%.
