The head of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko hopes that other countries on the example of Kiev will close its airspace for the delivery of Russian goods to Syria.
"You know that I gave proper instructions to the Ukrainian side has closed the airspace to Russian aircraft that carry weapons and troops to Syria. I dream that our example will be followed by other countries. We must do everything in our power to not give a new way, a new round of tension in the Syrian Arab Republic ", ? said Poroshenko, RIA " Novosti ".

Yesterday the Minister of foreign Affairs of Bulgaria Daniel Mitov said that the Bulgarian government is ready to provide an air passage to the planes of Russia in Syria after inspection of the goods. On 8 September, the Kremlin asked in a persistent form from Bulgaria explanations in connection with the ban on flights to Syria. Before that, Bulgaria's foreign Ministry officially said that Sofia closes the passage for the Russian military-transport aircraft, the following humanitarian aid to Syria for the period from 1 to 24 September 2015. This decision in Sofia substantiated concerns about the content of the goods transported. On the first day of the week the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Greece assured that it has received U.S. request for the closure of airspace to Russian aircraft delivering humanitarian aid to Syria. According to a source in the Greek international Ministry, now the request is pending, whereas before it was declared about the refusal of the authorities to close the airspace of Athens.
