Pushilin: DPR have plans to hold local elections on October 18
The self-proclaimed DNR reserves its intention to hold elections on October 18, told reporters the Plenipotentiary representative of the DND on the talks in Minsk Denis Putilin.

The Ukrainian Government has appointed elections to local authorities on 25 October. The Authorities LNR appointed local elections on November 1, but in DND they are required to take 18 October. The head of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that Donetsk and Lugansk are obliged to dispense with the holding of local elections, and tried to convince them to immediately begin discussions on the modalities of their conduct according to the Ukrainian laws. The authorities of Donetsk and Lugansk national republics many times stated about the conduct of local elections regardless of the wishes of Kiev.

"currently, our intention is to hold elections on the 18th. We await the decree of the head (the head of DNR - ed.) and proceed. Ukraine makes very logical steps, they do everything to ban elections in this territory, and did everything to ban elections in Donbass (controlled by the Kyiv - ed.)", - said Pushilin.
