RF IC: preliminary hearings began in Chechnya in the case of the UNA-UNSO
Preliminary hearings on criminal case concerning the Inhabitants of Ukraine Stanislav Cliche and Nicholas Karpuk, suspects that They are in 1994-1995 fought on the side of the UNA-UNSO against Russian soldiers, were commenced in the Supreme court of Chechnya, said the notary of the RF IC Vladimir Markin.

They are charged with leadership and involvement in the gang, murder 2 and not less than persons and attempted murder of 2 and not less than persons in connection with the exercise of his duty. It was aimed at the court for consideration on the merits.

By assumption of the investigation, Karpyuk, together with Dmitry Korchinsky and other persons from among the Directors and members of the nationalist organization "Ukrainian national Assembly - Ukrainian national self-defense" (UNA-UNSO) arrived from the Ukraine to the site of the Chechen Republic, in order from an armed group from the members of the "UNA-UNSO" and together with the members of the gangs operating within the Republic, led by Aslan Maskhadov, Shamil Basayev and others to attack and murder the Inhabitants, soldiers of the Russian Federation, as well as employees of the police Department.

Fulfilling the orders of the Directors of the gang, Karpyuk together with Alexander Muzychko led a gang with the name " Viking ", which also included members of the "UNA-UNSO" Dmitry Yarosh, Yuri Dolzhenko, Alexander Malofeyev, Stanislav Klich and others. In addition, in the period from December 1994 to January 1995 Karpyuk, Klyh, Malofeyev together with other members of the gang took an active part in clashes with troops of the Russian Federation within the Presidential Palace, the square "Minute" and the railway station of the city of Grozny, which was forcibly deprived of life of More than 30 soldiers and More than 13 soldiers caused the damage to health of various severity.
