International monetary Fund (IMF) until not decided on the status of Eurobonds for $ 3 billion, purchased by Russia from Ukraine, said at the regular press briefing of the official representative of the Fund William Murray.

"Our Executive Board is responsible for establishing the status of this debt, and the decision on the matter until it is not accepted," replied Murray on the relevant issue of correspondents.

He also reminded about the fact that the Executive Director of the Fund Christine Lagarde visited Kiev not so long ago and held a dialogue with the Ukrainian authorities.

in addition, Murray said that the IMF welcomes the programme of restructuring of Ukrainian government debt, approved by the Verkhovna Rada.
