The UN will investigate the authenticity of the messages entered on Ukraine sanctions regarding correspondents, said the official representative of the UN Secretary General Stefan Dujarric.

"We saw the message about it," Dujarric said on Thursday. He said that the action regarding correspondents are " quite disturbing ".

"We look at the authenticity of these messages and talk to colleagues in UNESCO ", He said.

Ukraine on Wednesday launched a year of punishment relative to 388 individuals and 105 legal entities, among them citizens of 23 countries.
