Lukashevich: Russia agitates Kiev to sign an agreement on withdrawal of weaponry
Moscow agitating Kiev to take a more constructive stance on the issue of signing the agreement on the withdrawal of tanks, artillery with a caliber of 100 mm and mortars up to 120 mm, said Russia's permanent representative to the OSCE Alexander Lukashevich.

"Welcome stabilization of the security situation in the Donbas along the line of contact of the parties. The number of incidents remains on a rather low damage. This situation ought to use in order to make the ceasefire sustainable and long-term. The most effective way - as soon as possible to sign the agreement for the withdrawal of tanks, artillery with a caliber of 100 mm and mortars up to 120 mm, " said he, speaking at the meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council on the situation in Ukraine and the need to implement the Minsk agreement in Vienna.

Lukashevich expressed regret that " consensus again failed to be achieved "." We urge the Ukrainian side to take a more constructive position. Naturally, the necessary and full implementation of paragraph 2 of complex of measures on withdrawal of heavy weapons, " - said Russia's permanent representative to the OSCE.

at the meeting of the contact group, which took place on 26 August in Minsk, the parties to the conflict agreed on the need to achieve a ceasefire in the Donbass from 1 September.
