Juncker will not attend the UN General Assembly
Vladimir Dobrovolsky. European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker will not attend the UN General Assembly in new York, the EC delegation will be headed by 1st Vice-President Frans Timmermans, said the official representative of the EC, Margaritis Schinas.

"The Commission will present 1st Vice-President Frans Timmermans, who will lead the delegation on behalf of the Chapter (Jean-Claude) Juncker," said Chinas correspondents on the first day of the week.

He said that the delegation will include the Head of European diplomacy Federica Mogherini, Vice-President of the Commission on budget, Kristalina Georgieva, European Commissioner for the challenges of the digital economy and information society, g?nther Oettinger, the European Commissioner for neighbourhood policy and enlargement negotiations Johannes Hahn, European Commissioner for international cooperation and development Neven Mimica, the European Commissioner for energy Miguel arias Ca?ete, the European Commissioner for migration, home Affairs and citizenship Dimitris Avramopoulos and EU Commissioner for humanitarian aid and crisis management stylianidis Christ.

Shines't say why Juncker himself will not participate in the meetings of the UN General Assembly.
