Ukraine due to the conflict in the Donbass lost the vast number of mines. On beyond the control of Kiev remained the most profitable mines, and companies, remaining under the control of the authorities of Ukraine, produce unprofitable coal gas. Delivery of coal from the combat zone is difficult because of the destroyed infrastructure, for example, due to the destruction by explosion of the railway.
