Secretary of Council of national security and defense of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov has agreed with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg interaction between Ukraine and the Alliance in the sphere of security and defense, according to the report of the NSDC of Ukraine on Tuesday.

During the meeting the sides discussed issues of cooperation of our country with NATO in the sphere of security and defense. In addition, the parties have devoted considerable attention to the issue of improvement of the law of Ukraine in the sphere of state security and defense and the reform of the military power of Ukraine and law enforcement bodies ", - is informed in the report.

According to Turchynov, Ukraine is interested in deepening cooperation with NATO and " made their own choice - the path to the European Union and the North Atlantic Alliance ".
