Egypt is negotiating the possible purchase of 2-French helicopter type "Mistral", intended for Russia, and 2 corvettes "Govind". The main topic for discussion was the issue of cost: in Cairo are convinced that Paris largely overstates the cost of the vessels.

High-ranking Egyptian delegation arrived in France to discuss the possibility of the acquisition of several vessels - 2 corvettes "Govind" and 2 "Mistral", which the French undertook to transfer to the Russian side. Negotiators from Egypt, according to some information, there is a mandate for the deal, issued directly by the President of the power of Abdul-Fattah Khalil Al-Sisi.

But the process complicates the problem, the magnitude of which cannot be underestimated. Egyptians believe that the inflated cost of helicopter carrier, reports La Tribune. Similar kind of discussion is a normal situation for trade negotiations, but not for the French shipbuilding company DCNS, which is located on the edge of a precipice and has no room to maneuver.

So much so, that Egypt has not stopped a little advice. Nevertheless, French experts reported that Cairo is highly motivated to deal with Paris - naval forces of the country have never had ships of this size. The Egyptian delegation will stay in Saint-Nazaire, where there are Mistral 10 days and will be able to weigh its decision.

Taking into account the opinion of professionals, the "Mistral" might want to host Egypt in the Red and Mediterranean seas as a factor of possible influence on the situation in Libya and Yemen. For Paris the deal with Cairo in any case it will be excellent news. Of the transaction amount will depend on how many will lose the budget of France in consequence of the rupture of the Treaty with Russia.
