"Special cynicism is the fact that similar activities are being undertaken by the Moldovan authorities in the year marking the 70th anniversary of the Victory of Soviet people over fascism", - noted in Department.

"There will be a place for all monuments Russian era. Let nostalgic for the Soviet Union lay flowers there and will be singing their own songs. At the moment we have another state. We must educate the younger generation on the other values," said Salaru, who plays for the accession of Moldova to NATO.

Along with this part of the Moldovan society similar action was not supported, noticed in the Russian foreign Ministry. "We hope that against the background of global protests in Chisinau, the Moldovan authorities have enough political maturity and common sense not to replace the lack of dialogue with the personal people of the implementation of undertakings, fraught with serious complications in Russian-Moldovan relations," he advised Chisinau to Moscow.
