The contact group on settling the situation in Ukraine on the last working day of the week in a videoconference to discuss the OSCE proposal on the draft Treaty about the withdrawal of weapons with a caliber of not more than 100 millimeters, said the official authorized Russian foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.

She added that in the capital of Russia emphasize with satisfaction that the established 1 September, the truce is observed. In her expressions, it promotes more solid work not only on the implementation of security issues, but also other components of the Minsk agreements. Further escalation would contribute to the harmonization of the document on the withdrawal of weapons with a caliber of not more than 100 millimetres, added Zakharova.

"Unfortunately, it failed again to do the process in regular meetings of the contact group and of the subgroup on safety in Minsk on September 22. Simultaneously, the search for a compromise continues.
